dmdg2 is honored to share that we have begun work with the Galvan Foundation to restore the historic Kiah House in Savannah, Georgia. The Kiah House has been a longstanding landmark in Savannah that was unfortunately stuck in Probate for over 20 years, following Virginia Jackson Kiah's death in 2001. Historic Savannah Foundation was able to secure the property in 2020 and then sold the property to the Galvan Foundation soon after.

The Galvan Foundation is a foundation centered around the 'common good'. Their mission is as follows: "To advance the Common Good by supporting strong advocates, vibrant communities, and cultural expressions that foster self-discovery and civic engagement." We could not think of a better foundation suited to own and restore this property in effort to unite our community and Savannah.
