Davenport House Museum - Urban Enslaved Exhibit
Since 2015, dmdg2 has been working with Davenport House Museum in Savannah, Georgia. The Davenport House Museum tells the story of the Davenport Family, a wealthy, White family living in Savannah during the early 1800s. The House had been interpreted from the second floor, upwards, using the ground floor as the gift shop and ticketing area. The KIAH HOUSE MUSEUM
dmdg2 is honored to share that we have begun work with the Galvan Foundation to restore the historic Kiah House in Savannah, Georgia. The Kiah House has been a longstanding landmark in Savannah that was unfortunately stuck in Probate for over 20 years, following Virginia Jackson Kiah's death in 2001.
